In this step, you limit the group of employees who are to be included in a search of the Who's who section.

The restriction is carried out using the STAT2 status indicator (employee employment status).

Standard settings

The employee subgroup is not restricted in the standard SAP system, which means that all employees are initially included in the search.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Check to see if the standard settings meet your requirements.
  2. If you want to limit the subgroup of employees, proceed as follows:
    1. Call view V_T77S0.
    2. Choose New entries.
    3. Enter ESS in the Group (group name) field.
    4. Enter STAT2 in the Sem.Abbrev. (semantic abbreviation) field.
    5. In the Value Abbrev. field, restrict the group of employees who are to be included in the search. To do this, enter the value for the employee employment status, which is to be used to restrict the search.

The following values are available:

0: employee is not in the enterprise
1: employee is inactive in the enterprise
2: employee is in the enterprise, but is a pensioner
3: employee is active in the enterprise

You can either enter these values individually, or in a combination.

Examples:

You want to restrict the search to include all active employees.
Enter 3 in the Value Abbrev. field.

You want to restrict the search to include all employees and pensioners.
Enter 23 in the Value Abbrev. field.
