Use
In this IMG activity you set whether not active infotype frameworks (according to the overview in the Configure Infotypes for HR Master Data Maintenance IMG activity) use the decoupled and the not decoupled infotype framework together. This may be necessary to ensure data consistency:
- The decoupled infotype framework is not active (in the sense described in Configure Infotypes for HR Master Data Maintenance).
- You use the Data Sharing function. For more information, see Copying Infotypes.
- You use applications that directly correspond to the decoupled infotype framework such as Employee Self-Services or HR Administrative Services).
If you set this switch, infotypes that you use in Data Sharing are updated in HR master data maintenance (PA30) using the decoupled infotype framework. This ensures the consistency of the data sharing information.
For the configuration described above and the infotypes used in Data Sharing, the system responds as follows:
Decoupled Infotype Framework Not Active
Infotype checks Depending on the infotype setting, as stated in the Configure Infotypes for HR Master Data Maintenance IMG activity in sections 1) to 4)
Updating Decoupled infotype framework
Enhancement PBAS0001 EXIT_SAPFP50M_001 (PBO) and EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 (PAI)

Note
If you did not set the switch under the conditions mentioned above, the infotype data records are updated in applications such as Employee Self-Services or HR Administrative Services in a different way to in HR master data maintenance (PA30). This leads to error messages and program termination because the Data Sharing information was not written consistently.
