You can use the Occupational Health functions of the SAP Environment, Health and Safety (SAP EH&S) component instead of the Internal medical service infotype (0028). This component offers you a wide range of functions to support the work-related care of your employees and to help you plan and carry out health surveillance protocols. It also enables you to use the corresponding functions in a more comfortable manner.
You make the necessary settings for the Occupational Health functions in Customizing under Environment, Health and Safety -> Occupational Health.
If you want to obtain an overview of the scope of functions of the component, see the relevant section in SAP Library under EH&S - Occupational Health.
In this step you define the permissible values for the examination areas.
You must define permissible values for every examination area.
Example
For the examination type Medical examination for hiring, you have defined the examiniation area "height / women". You have stored the following input values for this examination area:
- 01 small (up to 1.60 meters)
- 02 normal (up to 1.70 meters)
- 03 tall (more than 1.70 meters)
Activities
- Create the permissible values for entering your findings for each combination of examination type and examination area.
- Define a text for the results of your findings.
