In this step, you maintain the reporting unit numbers for the reporting units and addresses maintained in the previous IMG step. The reporting unit numbers to be entered here are to reflect the official numbers assigned to your enterprise by the EEO or VETS for reporting.
Standard settings
As delivered, the standard system permits two report indicators only:
- E (signifying EEO-1 Reporting Units), and
- V (signifying VETS-100 Reporting Units).
No other report indicators are supported.
Activities
- Execute this IMG step.
- In the Report Indicator dialog box, enter E to maintain EEO reporting unit numbers (or V to maintain VETS reporting unit numbers).
- On the following screen, review the reporting unit numbers for report indicator E (or V). If necessary, select New entries to enter reporting unit numbers for units created in the previous IMG step.
- Under Address Seq., enter the address sequence number created for the new reporting unit in the previous IMG step.
- Under Rep. No., enter the official reporting unit number assigned to your enterprise by the EEO or VETS for reporting.
- Repeat steps 3. through 5. until you have maintained all reporting unit numbers for report indicator E (or V).
Upon completing this process, all reporting unit numbers will be maintained for report indicator E (or V). If necessary, repeat the process to maintain reporting unit numbers for report indicator V (or E).
Note
If the appropriate agency has not yet assigned the official reporting unit number(s) to your reporting unit(s), please enter reporting unit numbers that start with Z$$ (e.g. Z$$000001).
Upon receiving the official reporting unit number(s), re-execute this IMG step and replace the interim number(s) (e.g. Z$$000001) with the official one(s). Also, maintain the Equal Employment Opportunity Record by replacing any interim number(s) with official one(s) and by copying associated EEO data to the official number(s).
