In this step, you maintain the Equal Employment Opportunity Record, which is used to record the EEO data that was reported for each reporting unit in previous reporting periods and years.
Aside from maintaining the EEO Record manually by means of this activity, you may also choose to update the EEO Record automatically. To do so, select the "Write results in EEO Record?" checkbox located on the initial screen of the EEO-1 Report (program RPSEEOU1). Once this checkbox is selected, the EEO Record will be automatically updated whenever the EEO-1 Report is subsequently run.
Standard settings
As delivered, the EEO Record contains sixteen columns, labeled A through N. These columns correspond to the sixteen columns used to denote groups of gender, ethnicity and race.
