Use
In this IMG activity, you determine in which subtype in the Description infotype (1002) in Organizational Management you want the system to read the long names for organizational management objects.
In addition to entering the subtype in this IMG activity, in the IMG activity Determine Special Parameters for each of the forms in which you use organizational management data you enter the fields in which you want the long names to appear. For example, see the LONG* parameters in the IMG activity Determine Special Parameters for form T-2.
You can include long names in the following output forms, whereby (a) represents the group version of the form:
- Form T-1 (a)
- Form T-5 (a)
- Form T-6 (a)
- Form T-8 (a)
- Form T-11 (a)
- Form T-2
- Form T-3
- Form T-7
- Form T-13
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, this IMG activity contains the parameter and value that cause the system to read long names in the General Description subtype (0001) in infotype 1002.
Activities
Enter the subtype that you want the system to read, by using the following format for program OBJLONGNAMES:
