In this step you set up dynamic actions which allow "retro-active" infotypes to be copied across related personnel numbers via a setting in table 'Dynamic Actions' (T588Z). This process ensures consistency of data in Multiple Employment situation when the data is entered into SAP system for the first time (e.g. Absence Processing).
These dynamic measures are only possible for addition of the new records (actions 'Copy' and 'Create'). Any modification of the existing records via actions 'Change', 'Delimit' or 'Delete' should be carried out on all related contracts manually.
Example
Requirements
Standard settings
The following infotypes are recommended to be copied in this way:
- SSP1(L) Form Data GB (0085)
- SSP/SMP Exclusions GB (0086)
- SMP/SAP/SPP GB (0088)
- Absences (2001)
The infotypes can only be copied across employment periods, which are after the employee's first hire date due to 'Organisational assignment' check that has been implemented, which leads to errors during the copy.
The records which start before the first hire date and end after the first hire date will be copied for infotypes 'Absences' (2001), 'SSP1(L) Form Data GB' (0085) and 'SSP/SMP Exclusions GB' (0086) with the start date of the copied record set to the first hire date. For infotype 'SMP/SAP/SPP GB' (0088) such records will not be copied, as the start and end dates of the records of this infotype are recalculated by module pool MP008800, which leads to errors due to 'Organisational assignment' check during the copy.
Recommendation
Activities
You should create the following entries for relevant infotypes to enable dynamic copy across all related contracts when a record is created on any of such contracts.
The example entries below are for infotype 2001 and absence subtype independent. If you do not wish this to be the case, you will need to make the entries on absence subtype level.
