In this step you can assign your wage types to a wage types group.
SAP has already grouped sample wage types in wage type groups.
If SAP has intended that a specific wage type only be placed in this infotype and you wish to also place it in other infotypes, you must perform this step.
Requirements
Before performing this step, you must define wage types. To do this, see the instructions in Create wage types using wage types catalogs and Create wage types using prototypes, in the section Personnel administration-> Personnel administration-> Payroll data-> Wage type-> Create wage types using wage types catalogs/Create wage types using prototypes.
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 system comes with certain wage types, for example, Transport costs, Donations.
Activities
Check your wage types and aggregate others if necessary.
Further notes
If in this step you have also aggregated a wage type to another wage types group, you must perform the following step in the implementation guide.
