In this step you check the entries for sickness certificates, which the system provides as possible entries in Family/Related Person infotype 0021 and Sickness Certs. A.

Activities

  1. Carry out the activity.

    You reach the screen Family Characteristics.

  2. Check the entries for characteristic 6. These entries (Sickness cert. submitted und No sickness cert. submitted) ) are in Family/Related Persons infotype 0021 in the field Entitlement under Entries for sickness cert.. When you select one of the values in infotype 0021, you determine whether or not the system should issue a sickness certificate for the particular person.

    In most cases you neither need to change the existing entries nor add additional entries.

  3. Check the entries for the characteristic7. The reasons for a sickness certificate fee exemption are stored here. The system provides these reasons inSickness Cert. A (0056) in the field Exemption as possible entries.

    The valid reasons for an exemption as determined by the social insurance agencies are already set in the standard system. They correspond to those reasons that are in effect at the time of delivery. Ensure that this list is up-to-date.

  4. The field Internal key is irrelevant at the moment.
