You must maintain the work contract if you want to create the earnings survey, the industry statistics for the chemical industry (sample), or the industry statistics for the metal industry (sample).

In these surveys, the employees must be grouped, for example:

  • In the earnings survey, the employees are divided into office employees and technical employees.
  • In the industry statistics for the metal industry, the employees are divided into time wage, premium wage, and piecework wage workers.

The grouping is according to employee group and subgroup. For an individual employee, this can be overridden by an entry in infotype 1 "organizational assignment# in the Work Contract field.
