With this step, employee and employer totals for social insurance (that is the sum of MA, PF, and UIF) are calculated.
Standard settings
Wage types have been set up with the appropriate processing class indicators.
Recommendation
All wage types, for which social insurance contributions are irrelevant, should receive the processing class specification 0 (pass along unchanged).
Activities
Check that the processing class specifications per wage type are correct for your company. If not, make any adjustments accordingly.
In addition, you must also setup the appropriate indicators for any new wage types created.
