Standard settings
As delivered, the standard system reviews the value defined in feature CLMPC to determine the variant of the Payroll Driver to be executed in order to process claims. This step of the Implementation Guide enables your enterprise to modify that value so that a customer-specific variant of the Payroll Driver is executed during claims processing.
Requirements
If your enterprise wishes to use a schema other than UCLM to perform claims processing, then follow the instructions below. If your enterprise does not require a customer-specific version of schema UCLM, then you do not need to configure your system as instructed below.
Activities
Execute this step of the Implementation Guide.
On the subsequent screen, select PView -> Table Maintenance to review the standard structure of feature CLMPC, shown below:

On line 000020 of the feature, replace the entry SAP_UCLM with the name of the customer-specific Payroll Driver variant (e.g. SAP_ZCLM) created in the previous IMG step. Upon making this change, line 000020 of the feature would appear, for example, as follows:

Select Feature -> Save to save the modified feature.
Generate the feature and exit this section of the Implementation Guide.
Once you have completed the configuration contained in this section of the IMG, choose the following Payroll USA menu path to initiate claims processing:
