In this step, you define reduction formulas for wage types entered with infotypes Basic pay (0008) or Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014). If you do not need to change the standard formulas, you do not need to do anything in this step.
Wage types from the Basic Pay infotype (0008) are created for each partial period. This means that if changes are made to the Organizational Assignment (0001) or Basic Pay (0008) infotypes within a period, these wage types must be reduced by factors created from the partial period view.
Wage types from infotype 0014 Recurring Payments/Deductions, on the other hand, are set up only once per period. Therefore, only reduction factors from the total period view can be used for these wage types.
Default Settings
The standard SAP System contains the following formula for reducing partial periods of wage types for basic pay:
- Factor =
Planned working time (partial period) - unpaid absence (partial period)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Period working hours according to pers. shift schedule
The standard system contains two formulas for reducing wage types entered with infotype Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014).
- Factor =
Planned working time (total period) - unpaid absence (total period)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Period working hours according to pers. shift schedule
- Factor = 0 if no paid attendance hour exists
Factor = 1 (thus no reduction) if at least one paid hour exists in the payroll accounting period
