In this step, you define the appropriate tax authority code for your
company. The tax authority codes defined in this table must be
obtained from the Reference Table issued by the tax bureau.

The tax authority long and short names must be defined in Chinese.

Standard settings

The standard system provides sample tax authority codes based
on a model company.

Recommendation

  • Use the sample tax authority codes provided as a basis for
    customizing your company data.
  • SAP recommends that you only create new tax authority code, as
    entries that are maintained in the standard SAP system could be
    overwritten when the release is next updated.
  • SAP recommends that you do not delete or change any of the tax
    authority codes that are contained in the standard SAP system as
    this could lead to errors when you try to run payroll accounting.

Activities

To create new tax authority codes by copying samples from the
standard system, proceed as follows:

  1. Note the specifications required for the relevant tax authority
    codes.
  2. Make a copy of the selected sample tax authority codes.
  3. Edit the tax authority codes to suit your requirements.
  4. Check that all the tax authority codes displayed on the list are
    copied correctly.
  5. The new tax authority codes are now copied. A list is generated
    logging the changes to all tables affected.
