In this step, you define the employer and employee percentage
contribution to the National Health Insurance (NHI) for both the
employee and his dependents.

Standard settings

The standard system provides sample NHI contribution percentage
based on a model company.

Recommendation

  • Use the sample NHI contribution percentage provided as a basis for customizing your company data.
  • The NHI contribution percentages are provided by the NHI bureau, according to government regulations.

Activities

To create new NHI contribution percentage by copying samples from
the standard system, proceed as follows:

  1. Note the specifications required for the relevant NHI contribution
    percentage.
  2. Make a copy of the selected sample NHI contribution percentage.
  3. Edit the NHI contribution percentage to suit your requirements.
  4. Check that all the NHI contribution percentage displayed on the list
    are copied correctly.
  5. The new NHI percentage contributions are now copied. A list is
    generated logging the changes to all tables affected.
