In this step, you group the various personnel areas (PA) and personnel subareas (PSA) using the PA/PSA grouping for tax calculation method and tax ID. You can assign personnel areas and personnel subareas that have the same tax calculation method and tax ID to the same PA/PSA grouping.

Example

In the following example, the personnel subareas THN1 and THN2 under the personnel area TH01 have been assigned the PA/PSA grouping 1N since they have the same tax calculation method and tax ID.

Requirements

  • Before you assign the PA/PSA grouping to the personnel areas and personnel subareas, you must have defined the PA/PSA grouping in the step Define PA/PSA Grouping for Tax Calculation Method and Tax ID.
  • The personnel areas and personnel subareas should have been maintained according to the organizational structure of your company.

Activities

  1. Enter the personnel area in the PA field.
  2. Enter the personnel subarea in the PSubarea field.
  3. Enter the PA/PSA grouping for tax calculation method and tax ID in the PS Grp TX field.
  4. Save your entries.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for all the personnel areas and personnel subareas in the organizational structure of your company.
