In this step you check the SAPscript layout sets (forms) used for the generation of the income tax statement forms IR8A, IR8S and IR21.

You need not usually make drastic alterations to these forms since the versions contained in the SAP standard delivery system have been designed to comply with the legal requirements. However, it may be necessary to adapt the forms according to the printers used in your company, so as to achieve a better layout.

If modifications are necessary, you must first copy the standard forms from client 000 into your customizing client.

Standard settings

The SAP standard delivery system contains the following SAPscript layout sets for the above mentioned tax forms:

  • IR21: HR_SGPTAXIR2196S
  • IR8A: HR_SGPTAXIR8A96S
  • IR8S: HR_SGPTAXIR8S96S

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Enter the name of the form you want to edit.
  2. Select the menu path Utilities -> Test Print to perform a test print.
  3. Check whether the printout suits your requirements.
  4. If necessary, change the relevant settings of the form's Subobjects.
