In this step, you copy the rule that determines how the minimum number of sick days relevant for the Christmas allowance affects the amount an employee is entitled to on a yearly basis.
Example
In your company, the employees receive a reduced Christmas allowance if they are absent for more than 30 days due to sickness, and only the exceeding number of days is deducted from their Christmas allowance. However, the rule provided by the standard considers not only the excess days, but all the absence days due to sickness (if they exceed 30) to calculate the Christmas allowance. That means that if an employee has 39 days of absence due to sickness in a year, the standard system takes 39 into account to calculate the Christmas allowance.
Therefore, you must copy the existing rule and change it accordingly, so that the system uses only the excess days of absence.

Activities
To copy the existing rule:
Choose Copy.
Fill in the name of the rule beginning with the letter "Z".
Choose Change.
Change the new Personnel Calculation Rules accordingly to calculate the Christmas allowance.
