In this step, you maintain the minimum number of absences due to sickness that affects the amount of the Christmas allowance an employee is entitled to.

Example

To receive the full Christmas allowance, an employee must have less than 30 sick days as stipulated by your company.

Therefore, if

  • employee A were absent 16 days during the year due to sickness, he or she receives the full Christmas allowance.
  • employee B were absent 39 days due to sickness, he or she receives a reduced Christmas allowance.
