Standard settings

In the standard SAP R/3 system, most variable allowance wage types (as for example, overtime) are configured as relevant for calculation and then included in the reference remuneration.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Check for which allowances you want to calculate the average for the Christmas allowance reference remuneration.
  2. Specify, for each wage type, if it is to be cumulated together with the basis wage type for the calculation of the Christmas allowance average.

Further notes

This is only relevant for Christmas allowances that are paid once a year. See step Determine type of Christmas allowance processing for more information.
