The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) sets a limit on the maximum earnings liable for Accident Compensation (ACC) earner premium for the current year. In this step, you enter this amount as a constant.

Standard settings

The SAP system contains the ACCMC constant (ACC maximum earnings ceiling).

Recommendation

SAP recommends that you check and maintain this amount as it is used during the calculation of the tax rate for extra emolument payments.

Activities

To change the value of the maximum earnings ceiling for ACC earner premium, select the ACCMC constant and change the amount in the Value field.

Further notes

The ACCMC constant is also used to define the Maximum earnings for ACC employer premium. If you change the maximum earnings threshold for earner premium, you must also check the Earner premium rates.
