In this step you make the settings for the assignment of wage types to groups of wage types. You can assign your wage types to the 'Garnishment' (GR01) wage types group as well as change existing assignments.
Requirements
Have defined the wage types in the wage types catalog.
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 system already contains country-specific groups of wage types.
Recommendation
Take into account that once you delete a group of wage types you cannot encode in any of the logical views that are linked to that group of wage types. As such, SAP recommends you take great care before deleting groups of wage types.
Activities
Take the following steps to check, and in some cases change, the assignment of wage types to a wage types group:
- Check the existing assignments.
You will only see the wage tapes already in the wage types group.
- If you want to make changes to existing assignments, select New entries.
You will see a list with all the available wage types. Wage types already assigned to a wage type group are marked.
- Check the existing assignments. If you want to include a wage type in a group of wage types, mark it. If you want to eliminate a wage type from a group of wage types, delete the corresponding marker.
- Save your changes.
