In this step you can create your own Garnishment liability wage types, Infotype (0427), copying the model offered in the standard SAP R/3 system.
These copies are wage types that you can use and change to suit your specific requirements. In this step there are only proposed wage types for use in the garnishment liability infotype (0427).
Note
- For information about how to set the wage types using prototypes or copying the proposed wage type catalogs in the standard R/3 system, see steps "Create wage types using wage type catalogs" and "Create wage types using prototypes".
- Note that the wage types copied from the model proposed by SAP, have the same properties (valuation bases, processing class, evaluation class, etcetera). You can verify the properties and if necessary change them in subsequent steps.
Attention
Use only the range of names reserved for the wage types of your company (wage types that begin with a number). Do not copy wage types in the area reserved for SAP wage type models (those that begin with a letter or a symbol).
Activities
Create your own liability wage types Garnishment liability wage types (0427), using the following steps:
Standard settings
The SAP norm uses the following wage types:
MG10: Liability made up of a percentage
MG20: Liability made up of a fixed amount
Recommendation
Create wage types to distinguish between liabilities made up of a percentage and those made up of fixed amounts. It is also possible to distinguish between different categories, although the standard SAP R/3 system does not do so.
