Activities

A classification group is a collection of corresponding WCB accounts from various provinces and territories. In this step, you organize your WCB accounts across all provinces and territories to form such classification groups. These groups should reflect the various industries that your enterprise is engaged in.

Example

Savoir-Faire Clothiers, Inc. is engaged in both the retail and the wholesale business across several provinces. In each province, the company holds two WCB accounts - one for retail and one for wholesale. In this example, one would configure this step to create two classification groups - 0001, with the description of Retail, and 0002, with the description of Wholesale.
