Requirements
This step only applies to those customers whose enterprise consists of a single company, provided that the entire company falls under Schedule 2 in all provinces. You should only execute this step if your company falls under Schedule 2 in all provinces, whereby it is not required to remit WCB premiums.
For employers who do not remit premiums because they fall under Schedule 2, the standard system provides an indicator, which is set via this IMG step, to re-classify your company accordingly, since the standard setting for this indicator is Schedule 1.
If you execute this IMG step to change the setting of the indicator to Schedule 2, then the system will bypass WCB premium calculation entirely; no premium amounts (within /4Wx wage types) will be stored in the results table (RT), although the basis wage types for WCB (/1Wx and /1Ex) will remain there.
Activities
If necessary, execute this IMG step to reset the indicator to Schedule 2; this indicator can be set via rule KSCD in schema KBD0.
Aside from establishing the rule in customer-specific versions of the schemas, no further customizing activity for Workers' Compensation is required if you are a Schedule 2 employer.
Execute this IMG step.
On the subsequent screen, select the first activity to set the Schedule 2 indicator within personnel calculation rule KSCD.
Select the second activity to ensure that schema KBD0 contains rule KSCD.
