In this step, you define the workflow which will send a notification to the responsible clerk if an employee has maintained his/her year-end adjustment data via the employee self-service.
This step focus on setup of a specific workflow. For general setup of the workflow environment, please refer to activities of SAP implementation guide under Basis Components -> Business Management -> SAP Business Workflow.
Example
Requirements
The responsible clerk is identified via the employee's infotype "Organizational assignment", field Administrator Personnel. If no clerk is maintained in that field, a notification can not be send.
Standard settings
In the standard setup, the workflow "employee maintained his YEA data" (WS30300009) is used to trigger the notification.
Recommendation
Activities
If you want to deactivate the notification workflow, the return value of the feature 41ESY should be space.
If you want to define another workflow for notification, the return value of the feature 41ESY should be changed to the new workflow template ID.
