In this step, you activate the event linking of the event CREATED of business object BANKDETAIL to the workflow template "Employee changed his bank information" (WS 30300008).
Through the workflow template, the responsible clerk will be notified via a mail, that an employee has maintained his/her bank data in the employee self-service.
Example
Requirements
The responsible clerk is identified via the employee's infotype "Organizational assignment", field Administrator Personnel. If no clerk is maintained in that field, a notification can not be send.
Standard settings
In the standard setup, the event linking has status "Deactivated". In this status, the associated workflow is not triggered.
Recommendation
Activities
To activate the event linking, execute the customizing activity. In the tree shown, choose "Activate event linking" by double-click. Expand the node "WS 30300008 Employee changed his bank information". To activate the event linking, double-click on the line "WE BANKDETAILCREATED ...".
Further notes
To deactivate the event linking, execute the same steps again.
