Standard settings

The standard SAP system has the following settings:

  • The rounding rule '50 or less sen omission' is applied on the following wage types:
    • Health insurance (employee portion)
      • /301, /331, /351
    • Health insurance specific premium (employee portion)
      • /315, /345, /365
    • Employee pension (employee portion)
      • /304, /334, /354
    • Pension fund (employee portion)
      • /601, /611, /621
    • Nursing insurance (employee portion, in case of fixed rate rule )
      • /307, /337, /357
    • Unemployment insurance (employee portion)
      • /310, /340, /360
      Note:
      In case of fixed amount rule, the amount will be used as it is in regular payroll.
  • The rounding rule 'Round down' is used for the following wage types:
    • Health insurance (total)
      • /302, /332, /352
    • Health insurance specific premium(total)
      • /316, /346, /366
    • Employee pension (total)
      • /305, /335, /355
    • Pension fund (total)
      • /602, /612, /622
    • Nursing insurance (total, in case of fixed rate rule )
      • /308, /338, /358
  • The rounding rule 'Round up' is used for the following wage types:
    • Unemployment insurance (total)
      • /311, /341, /361
    • Workmen's insurance
      • /313, /343, /363

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Check whether you need to change the standard rounding formula.
  2. Copy standard personnel calculation rule JK11 to personnel calculation rule ZK11.
  3. Choose suitable rounding formula for each wage type in the personnel calculation rule ZK11 to meet your requirements.
    • JK106: less than 50 sen omission
    • JK107: 50 or less sen omission
    • JK108: Round down
    • JK109: Round up
  4. Change personnel calculation schema JSLI so that it will access ZK11 instead of JK11.
