In this step, you set the default values and warning messages in the Tax infotype. In the Tax infotype, you set the following:

  • Set the default value for the number of dependents.
  • Determine the type of message to display if the number of dependents stated in the Tax infotype is different from that in the Family/Related Person infotype.
  • Determine the type of message to display if the marital status stated in the Tax infotype is different from that on the Personal Data infotype.

Standard settings

The standard settings for this feature will:

  • get the number of dependents value in the Tax infotype from the Family/ Related Person infotype,
  • display a warning if the number of dependents stated in the Tax infotype is different from that in the Family/Related Person infotype, and
  • display a warning if the marital status stated in the Tax infotype is different from that in the Personal Data infotype.
