In this step you check how the employer's contribution towards capital formation savings is to be processed during payroll accounting:
Is the employer's contribution to be reduced?
How is it stored at the end of the net part?
How is it processed as regards §3b EStG?
Is it included in the valuation basis for reduced hours/winter compensation?
Example
During the month your employee has an organizational reassignment. The employee had two days' holiday on the first two days of that month. If you want to reduce the employer's contribution towards capital formationsavings, specify the reduction factor under processing class 10. For example, reduction using factor /804 corresponds to the partial period factor for the entire month.
Further notes
The ER contribution is assigned to the last payroll period (WPBP split) in payroll accounting by means of function DVB and placed in wage type /57A.
For this reason, you should process the ER contribution like a recurring payment when carrying out reduction.
