Use

When you retroactively change data for health insurance funds in Customizing, it may me necessary to perform retroactive accounting. This reports sets the retroactive accounting date for the affected employees.

Note

This activity is necessary if, for example, you have retroactively changed contribution rates for the SI contribution, contribution classes for health insurance and care insurance, or level tables for health insurance and care insurance.

If you change contribution rates for health insurance funds, this activity is not necessary (anymore) since you execute the Adjust Contribution Rates report, which, among other things, triggers retroactive accounting for affected employees.
