The Pension Reform Act 1998 states that it is possible to refrain from sending a public sector employee into retirement if he or she is unable to work, provided the employee is over 50 years of age and, by retaining the position, can still work for at least half of the regular working time (restricted ability to work BBG §42). In accordance with §72a BBesG (Federal Civil Service Remuneration Act), the remuneration received is at least the amount of the retirement pension that the employee would have received if he or she had retired.
The system performs a fictitious pension calculation to generate a bonus that supplements the part-time gross remuneration so that it reaches the pension amount. This calculation is triggered when you create the 'Pension' infotype with subtype '07'.
Example
In a separate calculation, the fictitious pension payment (wage type /OVI) is calculated as DM 3,381.86.
This value is compared with the total of

The resulting bonus (wage type /OVJ) is DM 977.91.
