When the leave and sickness premium is calculated, the system requires different wage types for the corresponding calculations and cumulations.

Standard settings

The system uses the following wage types for the pay scale definition BMT-G:

  • Monthly time bonuses
  • Basic monthly wage
  • Paid absences
  • Days worked
  • Valuation bases (monthly basic wage per hour)
  • Cumulated time bonuses for current year
  • Cumulated monthly basic wage
  • Cumulated paid absences
  • Cumulated days worked
  • Current premium percentage rate
  • Percentage rate for previous period
  • Manual entry of premium percentage rate

Activities

This step give you an overview of all wage types used when calculating the leave and sickness premium for the corresponding pay scale definitions.

You define the wage types for the calculation of the leave and sickness premium in the section Define wage types to be used by creating a wage type model.

Recommendation

We recommend that you copy the wage types used in the standard system.

All wage types used in the wage type model for the corresponding pay scale definition must be copied to enable calculation of a second premium rate. The system can then perform the different calculations and cumulations using separate wage types. For example, in the BMT-G collective agreement, it is necessary to form different premium rates for changing previous employer activities.

However, you cannot copy the wage types in this section.

If you want to copy wage types and calculate a second premium rate for the BMT-G pay scale definition, proceed as follows:
