Use
In this IMG activity, you maintain or check the settings for the infotype screen control of the infotype Basic Pay (0008) for the public sector. You can display or hide individual fields of the various screens.
You can use the feature P0008 (screen control of the infotype for basic pay (0008)) to control which screen is to be used alternatively for infotype 0008.

Screen 2001 is used in the standard system and for all other return values.
Therefore, screen 2002 is used in the case of Employee Col. Agreement PS for infotype 0008. In the standard system, this has the following differences to screen 2001:
- The field BDA (pay seniority) in the group box Payment is omitted.
- The fields for the cost-of-living allowance and the family-related bonus in the group box Payment are omitted.
- The fields for controlling the case groups (CaseCat and CaseGr) in the group box Further information are omitted.
- The field Date of next increase is added.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system contains sample settings for the different infotype screen controls of infotype 0008 in the public sector. It may be necessary for you to change these settings.
Activities
Proceed as follows to maintain the settings for infotype screen control:
- Call the IMG activity and, in the dialog box Determine work area: entry, enter the value MPV00800 in the field Module pool and confirm.
- In the view for infotype screen control select an entry and choose Detail.
- Check the settings delivered in the standard system and use the radio buttons to adjust the infotype screen control to your requirements.
You can also use the Feature pushbutton to switch to feature maintenance (PE03). Here, you can edit the feature P0008. - Choose Save.
