The allowance is calculated by the employee receiving 22% of his or her normal net hourly wage for each hour lost because of reduced working hours.
The employee receives the resulting amount as a guaranteed net amount.
Example
Hours lost because of reduced working hours: 70
Employee's net hourly wage: DM 20
Allowance as guaranteed net amount: DM 308
Requirements
Standard settings
When the RHC rate is calculated, a "net amount" per hour is calculated.
On the basis of this amount, the allowance is calculated per hour and multiplied by the lost RHC hours.
This amount is indicated in wage type /644.
Net/gross iteration is carried out using this wage type.
Taxes and SI contributions are indicated in wage type /64B.
Recommendation
Activities
To use the allowance, you must carry out the following steps:
- In schema DKU0, activate processing of rule DK8A.
- In schema DKU0, deactivate processing of rule DK80.
- Finally, the employees require the appropriate allowance variant in the reduced hours infotype.
You can assign it to the employees using the step Define employees affected.
Further notes
A copy of rule DK8A enables you to indicate the allowance in a different wage type and use a different percentage.
