To make sure the 'service type' functionality works, check the 'assignment of views to infotypes'.

Further notes

To use the service type enhancement, you must maintain the 'assignment of views to infotypes' screen. Here you can define which views are used by which infotype.

You require the view indicator for infotypes 0001 and 0027 and the views 'V0001' and 'V027' for the service type functionality (see also Assign view indicator).
This means that the system uses the screen for the civil service for the employee subgroup that has this view indicator.

Example

To activate the 'service type' functionality in infotype 0001, make the following table entry:
