In this step you define which wage types from the payroll results are to be taken account when defining remuneration for open leave. It may be the case that not all wage types can be used for all employees. If you want to use wage types from the payroll results that are to be delimited to a particular person subgroup, please see the step to be carried out here. In this step you specify a feature used to control whether only particular wage types are to be evaluated for certain person groups. The standard R/3 system contains feature DURLB. In this feature, you can assign indicators to certain person subgroups. You can delimit the use of these wage types to certain person subgroups by assigning these indicators to wage types (in the next step). If an employee belongs to a person group you have assigned an indicator in this feature, only the wage types from the payroll results which are assigned this indicator are used to calculate leave remuneration.
Example
Wage type ZZZZ represents leave remuneration for trainees. This wage type may not be evaluated for any other person subgroups. To set up this constellation, you might query the trainees in this step and assign them the indicator '1'. Please assign this indicator '1' to wage type ZZZZ in the next step.
Requirements
If you do not have any wage types which require a distinction for certain person groups, you do not need to make any settings in this step.
Standard settings
The standard R/3 system contains feature DURLB.
Recommendation
Please see also the documentation on this standard features.
