Some mutual indemnity societies require output of the working hours which were lost due to an industrial accident as further specifications in the wage statement.
The specification of these Accident related downtimes is achieved here by specifying Absence types.
Requirements
Check whether your mutual indemnity societies require these specifications.
If this is not the case, no settings need to be made.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP R/3 System, the absence types 'industrial accident' and 'travel accident' are set up. These absence types are included in the list.
Recommendation
Check whether you use these or corresponding absence types.
Activities
If you use further or other absence types which display accident related downtimes, you include these absence types in the list.
You only need to enter the absence type in the WType field and define whether an absence type is to be added to or subtracted from the absences caused by the accident (AS field); none of the other fields in the line are of importance to the wage slip.
