This step enables you to enter specifications for each maternity insurance payroll unit.

Requirements

You have adapted feature CHFIG (Maternity Insurance: Group Employees Into Payroll Units) to the organizational structure at your enterprise by choosing Basic Settings -> Payroll Units and performing the Maintain Payroll Units step.

Activities

Maintain the following fields for each payroll unit:

  • SI grouping: by entering data in this field, you determine whether contributions are calculated for the maternity insurance in Geneva payroll unit. The law stipulates that maternity insurance is compulsory in the canton of Geneva, which means you must ensure that the system calculates such contributions if you employ persons in this canton.
  • Equalization fund: use this field to enter the name of the equalization fund that is used when payroll runs for the payroll unit.
  • Insurance number: use this field to enter the insurance number of your enterprise for the appropriate insurance company.
  • Contact person/telephone number: you can use this field to enter the name of a contact person at your enterprise.

Note

When changing and deleting entries, note that the following payroll units are displayed, edited, and saved together in the same view (HR_CH: Display Payroll Unit of Cantonal Components of SI (V_T5CSB):

  • Payroll units for maternity insurance Geneva
  • Payroll units for Schaffhausen Social Fund
  • Payroll units for vocational training funds
