The viewcluster HRCHSV for this step provides an overview of the social insurance calculation settings.
The supplied settings comply with the statutory requirements for the calculation of:
- Pension, disability and dependents' ins.(AHV )
- Unemployment insurance (ALV, ALV2)
- Occupational accident insurance (BU )
- Non-occupational insurance (NBU )
- SI Fund Schaffhausen (SFO )
You must be very precise when modifying SAP standard settings, particularly the statutory components.
The following application keys are predefined for voluntary social insurance components:
- NBU supplement (NBUZ )
- Voluntary accident insurance (UEB )
- Per diem sickness insurance (KT )
The settings for voluntary accident insurance and per diem sickness insurance assume that a gross up of these insurance contributions in the case of net wages. Further variants for dealing with net wages and the calculation of insurance contributions are available.
The relevant information for each application key is entered in this viewcluster. The views wage type controlling and wage type formation for SI exist for each application key. In addition, there are also the views general wage types for the application key ALLG, reset cumulation AHV/ALV, reset cumulation BU/NBU, reset cumulation insurance.
Wage type controlling
The view wage type controlling contains the following information:
- Wage types for bases
- Wage types for liable wages
- Wage types for maximum wages
- Wage types for exemption limits
- Wage types for SI contributions
- Constants for SI contributions
- Modules in which calculations are implemented:
- for the calculation of contributions in the gross-net iteration in the case of net wages
- for determining the bases and wages (annual and periodic values)
- for the calculation of contributions
Wage type formation for SI
Basic wage types for cumulation wage types for each SI application key are summarized in the view formation of SI wage types. All basic wage type contributions, entered for a cumulation wage type, form the cumulation wage type to be calculated. In this way, the following new wage types are formed:
- annual basis for the application key
- cumulated gross up (only for UEB and KT)
In addition, further wage types are listed in this view under the key wage type "Period basis", (for example, /102). These wage types are not included in the annual basis and are only relevant for the period calculation. These wage types serve only to verify whether a wage is available in a certain period for the relevant application key. The gross-net iteration can give constellations in which, in any one period, a gross up occurs, but no wage is paid. If no wage is paid, any subsequent claim or reimbursement of SI contributions is suppressed, provided the employee has not left the company, and the year has not yet ended. This prevents an employee, who, for example, only receives a wage twice in one year (such as directors), from receiving employee remuneration information with small SI refunds or arrears payments in all the intervening periods.
You can find more information under cumulation wage types SI.
General wage types
In the view general wage types, cross-application wage types are summarized with the application key ALLG:
- Wage types for the calculation of annual pensioner exemption
- Wage type for the SI days in the period
- Wage type for the AHV administration costs contribution
Reset cumulation
In the views reset cumulation AHV/ALV, resst cumulation BU/NBU, reset cumulation insurance, you determine which cumulation wage types and annual values must be reset, under certain conditions, within a calendar year.
To reset cumulations, read the documentation cumulation wage type for reset.
The system differentiates between the following cumulation types:
- AHV/ALV cumulations
- BU/NBU cumulations
- Cumulations for voluntary accident insurance
- Cumulations for per diem sickness indemnity insurance
- Cumulations for customer insurance
