This step explains how to make the settings for processing third party benefits in gross/net iteration.
Since third party benefits are not entirely liable for social insurance, an employee would earn more when off sick or on holiday as he/she would when working normally. Iteration can be used to prevent this from happening. If this is done, the system reads the same tables as when calculating guaranteed net amounts. This means that an amount the same size as the reduction in SI contributions is deducted from the wages.
This process is controlled by cumulations 56 and 57. You can determine to which cumulations the wage types described in this step should be added.
Activities
To check the cumulations for the wage types here and, if necessary, change them, proceed as follows:
Select a wage type and choose Details.
Specify a validity period if necessary.
Determine whether the wage type is to be included in cumulations 56 or 57 by selecting the appropriate fields.
Further notes
The logical view linked to this step is 02_SV003. For further information on maintaining wage types with logical views, see the section Wage Type Update Environment under Basic settings in this implementation guide.
