In this step, you assign an employer tax group, which belongs to a particular Tax area and has an authorized Enterprise tax ID, to the personnel area and subarea in order to group employees for tax purposes. The Tax area is automatically defaulted when you maintain an employee's master data in the Income Tax (CN) infotype (0531).

Activities

To assign the employee tax group to a personnel area and subarea:

  1. Choose the personnel area and subarea.
  2. Choose the employee tax group.
  3. Save your entries.
