Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the conditions of use for Activa allowances
Activa allowances are linked to a group of specific social insurance (SI) reductions. Activa allowances are a means by which the State contributes to an employee's net salary, provided that the employee fulfills certain conditions.
Requirements
You have customized the reductions to which the Activa allowances are linked; these attributes are used when the allowance is processed.
If an employee is eligible for an Activa allowance, you need to ensure that the Social Insurance Belgium (0100) infotype has been maintained with the correct start date.
Standard settings
You use this activity to define various Activa conditions, as follows:
- You can specify the Activa conditions, including the number of quarters, employment percentage and reduction code. You can also specify the amounts corresponding to each Activa allowance, if required.
- You can specify an alternative wage type (other than the standard) to store the Activa amount and assign the Activa allowance to the relevant condition. When creating or changing the conditions, use the PAYR subapplication for selection.
Note: There are a number of exceptional cases where the entitlements and validity period specified on the employee's job card do not correspond to the employee's actual Activa conditions. These cases are described, as follows:
- If the employee is rehired within 30 months after the complete/partial period in which Activa entitlements (social insurance reductions and/or Activa allowances) have been applied.
- The employee is impacted by transitional Activa regulations, that bridge exceptional Activa circumstances with standard Activa regulations.
