In this section you change the rule used for weekly working days cumulation, as well as the number of public holidays in the same period.

Absences considered for Paid Weekly Rest (PWR) discount are checked as follows:

  1. Monthly wage earner: if the number of working days is lower than seven, a PWR discount wage type is created, then transfered to payroll and calculated afterwards.
  2. Hourly wage earner: if the number of working days is equal to seven, a PWR payment wage type is created and transfered to payroll where is then calculated.

Example

Requirements

Before doing this procedure, you must:

  1. Copy time evaluation scheme TM00 to an individual scheme (ZTM0, for example).
  2. Copy scheme for creation of time wage types TC00 to an individual scheme (ZTC0, for example).
  3. Copy sub-scheme DSR0 to a new one (ZSR0, for example) and insert that sub-scheme in new schemes ZTM0 and ZTC0.

Recommendation

When necessary, please adapt checking rule for working days to the needs of your company. That may happen, for example, if you use individual wage types.

Activities

  1. Check standard rule given by SAP.
  2. Copy standard rule DSR2 to another rule with a new name. For example, ZSR2.
  3. Make the necessary changes in new rule ZSR2.
  4. Override call of new rule ZSR2 in new sub-scheme ZSR0 (from where it is accessed).
  5. Save your entries.
