In this step you set up feature TRVCP for Travel Planning. Features contain rules that are used primarily in the programs of the application component Human Resources (HR) mainly to set default values.
Feature TRVCP is structured as a decision tree and is used to assign employees specific travel profiles in Travel Planning. The feature is only active if no travel profile is stored for the employee in infotype '0470' (travel profile).
When the decision tree is maintained or set up, certain fields from the infotypes serve as valid fields for decisions. Thus, one specific travel profile can be assigned to more than one employee without your having to make the respective entries in infotype '0470'. This simplifies assignment of travel profiles considerably.
