Use

Here you control the field properties of the of the recipient detail dialog for the combination of recipient category and dispatch route. A separate setting can be made for each one of various recipient categories and dispatch routes.

The field control data is used by the application with the following prioritization:

  • If there is a field control entry in which both dispatch route and recipient category match a recipient's data, this entry is used for the field control.
  • If there is both an entry with appropriate dispatch route and initial recipient category and an entry with suitable appropriate type and initial dispatch route, both entries are combined:
    A check is made for each field to determine which of the two relevant field control entries contains the higher value. In each case the higher value prevails and is used for the field control for this field.
  • If there is an entry with appropriate dispatch route and initial recipient category, it is used.
  • If there is an entry with appropriate dispatch route and initial recipient category, it is used.
  • If there are no relevant entries, each field becomes an optional input field.

Example

The e-mail address is a required entry field in a mail dispatch; with a conventional post dispatch this field can be hidden.

Expedient presettings for shipped recipient categories and dispatch types are shipped with BC set ISH_N2_DOCDISPATCH_FIELD_CTL.
