Use
In this IMG activity, you configure for which scenarios - combinations of supplier return reason and inspection code - internal refund determination (IRD) must be used to create credit memos for cross-company-code returns stock transfers.
In addition to those scenarios for which you have explicitly configured IRD as obligatory, IRD must also be used if you have split a delivery item in the Material Inspection in Warehouse transaction in order to record different inspection results.
For all other scenarios, you can choose to use IRD or allow the system to create the credit memo automatically using collective processing for billing documents.
Requirements
- You have defined supplier return reasons in IMG activity Define Return Reasons for Supplier Returns.
- You have defined inspection codes in IMG activity Maintain Catalog for Inspection Codes.
Standard settings
In the standard, credit memos are created automatically using collective processing for billing documents unless a delivery item has been split.
Activities
Specify whether internal refund determination must be used for a particular combination of return reason and inspection code.
