Use
In this IMG activity, you make various settings for the deficiency analysis.
- You enter names for attributes and attribute values.
- You specify the deficiency types for which the system should automatically calculate the Magnitude and Classification attributes.
- You can define aggregation types. You can use these as means of sorting during the deficiency analysis, and they provide a basis for viewing the impact potential of deficiencies in an aggregated form. This setting is only relevant if you want to sort using your own criteria, rather than just using the criteria already available in the deficiency analysis (such as account groups or controls).

Activities
- Under Attributes for Deficiency Analysis, enter names for the attribute values of the following attributes:
- Deficiency Type
- Classification of Deficiency
- Likelihood of Deficiency
- Magnitude of Deficiency
- Assignment of Magnitude to Classification
- Note: For the Assignment of Magnitude to Classification attribute, you do not enter the assignment itself, but only the names. The user can then select from these names (in the Magnitude column) if he or she does not want the calculation for them to be made automatically. The assignments themselves are defined in the system and cannot be changed. The table below shows which classification the system automatically enters for which values of the Assignment of Magnitude to Classification attribute:
Assignment of Magnitude to Classification Classification
Value A Value D
Value B Value S
Value C Value M
Assignment of Magnitude to Classification Classification
Issue describes a deficiency Deficiency
Issue describes a significant deficiency Significant deficiency
Issue describes a material weakness Material weakness
- Specify the deficiency types for which the system should automatically calculate the Magnitude and Classification attributes. You do so under Calculation by Deficiency Type. For information on how the calculation is made, refer the documentation for the Calculation indicator.
- You can make one or more entries under Aggregation Types.
- These aggregation types are then available to the user of the deficiency analysis in the Aggregation Type column. You choose the technical name and the description.
