Here you enter the activity type that you want to be used as default value during document entry. You make this entry per document type/material type/transaction type/recipient type - recipient/recipient type - sender.

There is a four-level access
- Transaction type
- Recipient type recipient (RType)
- Recipient type sender (SType)
- RType/SType empty
Further notes
You do not need to enter a recipient type if you are dealing with the transaction types acquisition or retirement. Entries are valid for all recipient types. Above is only relevant to materials.
Example
Whenever materials are sent from construction site to construction site with the recipient type BI/BI (internal construction sites) in the shipping document, the default activity type, for example, NH (non- consumable products) should be used.
