Use

Before you send a document category you can set the format that is to be used when it is sent to a certain communication partner. There are however default settings if you do not wish to make any settings for a document category (see below).

Enter the following information:

  • Communication Partner

Enter the communication partner that the entry is to be valid for. You can leave this field blank. The entry for the dispatch of the specified document category is then valid for every communication partner which does not have an entry of its own.

  • Institution, Document Category ID, Document Category Version

Enter an institution and a suitable document category here. The dispatch format setting (see below) applies to this document category in this institution.

  • Dispatch Format

Some document categories can be represented in several formats:

    • PMD documents can be transferred as structured XML data (XML export format), as PDF and in four different XHTML displays (XHTML is a special form of HTML).
    • XML documents can be transferred in a corresponding XML storage format. Depending on the document settings this can be either XML export format from i.s.h.med, or any XML format, if you have activated the customer-specific option for the document category. Four different XHTML displays are also supported.
    • PDF and Wordcontainer documents can only be sent in their storage format.

Without settings the following defaults apply:

    • PMD documents are transferred as PDF.
    • XML, PDF and Wordcontainer documents are transferred in their storage format.
